Disappointed in yesterday's iPhone announcement from Apple?
Don't be.
Joe Hewitt is pumped!
Hewitt is the former Facebook employee who designed the Facebook iPhone app back in 2009. The app is the most popular third-party iPhone app in the world.
Hewitt has been pretty hard on Apple in the past.
Back in 2009, he loudly quit working on apps for the platform in protest of Apple's app-review process.
But today, he's happy with what Apple's done.
He told us: "What can I say? Expectations are always so high for these events but some years Apple just gives us incremental upgrades. That's ok. I'll be getting a 4S and I feel confident in a year it will still be the best smartphone in the market."
The iPhone 4S will be the best smartphone on the market in a year? Bold call!
