JAT Capital, John Thaler's tech-focused ~$1 billion hedge fund, just reported that they're now a big holder of Netflix.
They've owned a bunch of Netflix for awhile, but now they own 7.6% of the company, according to a new 13G filing.
While JAT is likely thinking of Netflix as a long term bet, it's worth noting that Netflix was trading around $130 on September 20th, around the time that JAT acquired its stake. Now it's trading around $113.
Also interesting: JAT owns a bunch of the momentum stocks that were down big yesterday. Check it out >
